Join a Collegiate Recovery Community on Your Campus

Earn a college degree and have a fulfilling college experience while maintaining recovery from addiction.

Collegiate Recovery Communities/Programs (CRCs or CRPs) are developed by students in recovery who work to provide safe, supportive, recovery friendly campus life.

Students have access to on-campus meetings, social gatherings, educational tool kits, and specialist who understand the recovery process.

Who is Eligible:
Students who are willing to abstain from alcohol and other drug use.
Some schools require letters of recommendation, successful completion of a treatment program or a willingness to participate in group meetings and community service projects.
Please note that different schools may have different requirements.

First, find out if your campus hosts a certified collegiate recovery program.
Reach out to the Association of Recovery in Higher Education. This organization has representatives who can help you make a plan for getting started.
