Promote Syringe Service Program

Syringe Service Programs are an effective component in the reduction and prevention of Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) prevention, hepatitis C virus (HCV), and other viruses. With this program, individuals can drop off their old and potentially contaminated needles and syringes, and are given new, sterile needles and syringes for free.

Some programs provide prevention materials such as education on injection practices and wound care, overdose prevention, referral to substance use disorder treatment programs, and testing for HIV and hepatitis C.

How can I do that?
