The Tennessee Department of Education, Office of Coordinated School Health (CSH), hosts the 12th annual Coordinated School Health Institute. The CSH Institute is April 8-10, 2019 at the Embassy Suites - Cool Springs in Franklin, TN.
This annual conference is mandatory for all district-level school health coordinators in the state of Tennessee. School health coordinators and their support staff from all 136 public school districts will be in attendance. We also welcome state employees from the Tennessee Department of Education.
Coordinated School Health is a national model that makes an impact on children’s health. As you may be aware, Tennessee leads the nation by being the only state to provide a state-funded CSH initiative in every school district. The primary mission of the office is to improve student health outcomes as well as support the connection between good health practices and academic achievement.
