Sullivan Co. Mental Health First Aid Training

November 18 @ 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) teaches you how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges.

In response to our nation’s mental health crisis, Frontier Health will bring Mental Health First Aid training to Northeast State Community College on Thursday, November 18, 2021. This groundbreaking skills-based course gives people the tools to identify, understand and respond to someone who might be struggling with a mental health or substance use challenge — and connect them with appropriate support and resources when necessary.

Normally, this training costs $5,000 per person, but Frontier Health is providing the training free of charge.

Seating is limited to a maximum of 30 participants. If you register and find that you cannot attend, please contact Jane Honeycutt at jbhoneycutt@northeaststate.edu.

Lunch will be provided.
