We are going to be hosting a social media challenges. We will be having a purple sand challenge, which was inspired by the red sand project that is used for raising awareness on human trafficking by placing red sand in the cracks of the sidewalks. We are going to have purple sand and use the sand to raise awareness on overdoses and addiction through social media. We will have video testimony from love ones who have been affected by overdose and survivors. We will provide information and education materials to various churches to provide during Sunday August 30th services.
HCC will be distributing free treat bags and information packets on IOAD to the public thanks to Cempa Community Care, Tennessee Suicide Prevention Network and Count It! Lock It! Drop It!.
