If you are a resident of Cheatham, Dickson, Houston, Humphreys, Montgomery, Robertson, Sumner, or Stewart County you will be certified and receive a free Narcan kit.

Hamilton Co. Virtual Overdose Awareness Events
We are going to be hosting a social media challenges. We will be having a purple sand challenge, which was inspired by the red sand project that is used for raising awareness on human trafficking by placing red sand in the cracks of the sidewalks. We are going to have purple sand and use the sand to raise awareness on overdoses and addiction through social media. We will have video testimony from love ones who have been affected by overdose and survivors. We will provide information and education materials to various churches to provide during Sunday August 30th services.

•A memorial wall in honor of lost loved ones to addiction
•’Revealed: A Hidden World’ which is an interactive display for parents and guardians as an education tool for teen substance abuse prevention aimed to help show families the importance of detecting the use of drugs and alcohol in their own home will be set up as well.
