Shelby County Opioid Summit

Someone dies every 3 days in Shelby County due to the Opioid Crisis.

The University of Memphis School of Social Work, Memphis Area Prevention Coalition, Church Health, and TN School Counselor Association are providing a 2 Day Summit to educate the community about an epidemic that is devastating families in the Mid-South. Hear from local experts about root causes, prevention and intervention strategies, and most importantly long term solutions.

  • Addiction Campuses is providing lunch for the first 200 to register!
  • Performance both days by Chris Johnson from American Idol!!!

  • Parking for this event is located in the Zach Curlin Parking Garage.
  • Overflow parking is in the lot next to the Student Recreational Center

Any organization or vendors that would like to set up a table to disseminate information about resources available in Shelby County can do so free of charge. Space is limited. For availability please call (901)249-2828
