The Williamson County Anti-Drug Coalition participated in National Drug and Alcohol Facts Week by sharing educational information on Facebook. Short facts about drugs and alcohol as well as links to resources were posted throughout the week.
Specific posts encouraged individuals to "Test their drug and alcohol IQ". This ten minute quiz asks 12 questions to gauge how well you know the facts.
Another post links to an interesting article about the genetics of addiction and how teens can work to make smarter decisions.
Communities deserve to be well informed and have access to local resources. Considering how much time is spent browsing social media, posting resources and educational information is an easy and effective way to get important information to the masses.
