Fourteen families attended the Humphreys County Community Baby Shower! The event was held at the Three Rivers Hospital in Waverly TN.

This was a free event for expecting mothers and guardians of children up to 1 year. Participates received a diaper bag full of information. Educational booths demonstrated car seat safety, infant choking and CPR procedures, safe sleep methods, dangers of lead poisoning, dangers of tobacco use, and neonatal abstinence syndrome information. Local resources were provided.

This event was possible thanks to a partnership between The Department of Health, UT Extension, Highland Rim, Centerstone and local hospitals. Another thank you goes out to the many volunteers that helped us!
