ASAP of Anderson Working to Prevent and Reduce Substance Misuse

ASAP of Anderson provides medication lockboxes to community members in need, hosts the Naloxone program for the region, provides education on medication safety to youth, provides Drug-Free Workplace training, and much more.

ASAP utilizes CADCA's comprehensive Seven Strategies for Community Change to guide and inform our strategic planning for any substance misuse prevention including opioids and prescription drug misuse.

This work has impacted our community in many positive ways including a 53.5% reduction in youth substance use and a $17.73 savings in public burden spending for every $1.00 spent on prevention.
