Bradley Polk Walk-In Clinic Receives Narcan Training after Witnessing Overdose

I recently did a training with the I recently did a training with the Bradley Polk Walk-in clinic, I met with the office manage a few days later to provide certificates and provide a few units of narcan to individuals in the training for Bradley and Polk counties.  I was informed by the office manager that the doctors in the office required all of the employees (14) to be trained in Narcan administration.  The decision to have all of the employees trained, way a result of watching  in a person overdosing in the parking across the street.  The staff had not previously been trained and only knew to provide chest compression until emergency services arrived. They were able to assist and EMS provided the Narcan.  As a result this encounter, they have scheduled a Narcan training/community event and want ROPS to provide individual trainings at the vaccination waiting area and at a back to school event.  This clinic has put us incontact with other community agencies who want to have the Narcan training., I met with the office manager a few days later to provide certificates and provide a few units of narcan to individuals in the training for Bradley and Polk counties.
