The stress of COVID-19 can increase the risk of an overdose. It’s important to have naloxone (also known as Narcan), a medication designed to rapidly reverse opioid overdose, on hand.

ASAP of Anderson offered free naloxone trainings, branded as Opioid Overdose Training, throughout January 2021 for Anderson, Campbell, Claiborne, Grainger, Morgan, Roane, Scott, and Union Counties in Tennessee.

Training were advertised on Facebook and conducted by Regional Overdose Prevention Specialists or (R.O.P.S.).
