Cannon Co. Participates in IOAD

Cannon County Substance Abuse Coalition attended the Cannon County Football Slick Pig Bash.  Collaborating with Michael Bare, their regional ROPS representative, they gave away free Kona Ice and sunglasses to all children and youth visiting their table. Kaitlin Parker, Public Health Educator for Warren and Cannon County Health Departments, and Kamille Smith, Executive Director of CASA of Cannon County, also participated with their booth and giveaways.  It was estimated that there were over 250 youth athletes, along with their parents, siblings, friends, and family members, in attendance. This event was impactful not only to the youth but to the parents and families in the community as well.
