I recently learned about the "Count it, Lock it, Drop it" program and felt like it was time I went through the medicine cabinet in my home.

My 11 year old grandson living in the house also served as an incentive to organize and get rid of old prescriptions. After going through various medications I found an over the counter cough suppressant that had expired in 2017 as well as four prescription medications that had expired in 2016. It was definitely time to get these out of the house!

Dropping off the medication was easy. I took them to my local Walgreens to be disposed of. Now I know exactly what medications are in my home and am able to keep better track of them in the future.
