For International Overdose Awareness Day on August 31st, the Hamilton County Coalition's Regional Overdose Prevention Specialist Vanessa Spotts hosted two free, virtual opioid overdose prevention trainings to the public.

Later that night, the Hunter Museum of American Art, Ruby Falls, High Point Climbing and Fitness and the Tennessee Aquarium in Chattanooga lit their buildings purple to spread overdose awareness across the whole city.
