Hickman County Sheriff's Deputies Attend "Tennessee Save A Life Day"
Last night 4 Hickman County Sheriff's Deputies had the opportunity to attend a "Tennessee Save A Life Day", Community Outreach Class on Mental Health and Substance Abuse. The class was hosted by the Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services and sponsored by The Booker D. Foundation.
It was great to see so many people in the community come out and show their support last night. There is an Opioid Epidemic in our Community that drastically needs to be reduced. By working together we can reduce the damage done in your Community.
If you or a loved one is battling an addiction problem, you can receive help from local resources. The program isn't just for those struggling with substance misuse disorder, its also designed to help friends and family members who are effected.
If you or a family member/friend need help please reach out to the Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services @ 1-800-560-5767 you can also make direct contact with the class instructors if you are interested in setting up a class.
