Loudon Co. Provides Detailed Breakdown of Spring Take Back Event

The Prevention Alliance of Loudon County participated in the Spring Take Back Event. Our event was held at the Tellico Village Welcome Center from 10-2, Saturday, April 27, 2019.

We anticipated about 150 or so participants but went ahead and printed 200 surveys. We ran out of surveys at 1 pm! We also printed flyers to distribute throughout the community, placed a large banner and several signs about the event as well. Everyone who participated had a great day! I was shocked at how many participants thanked us for having the event. They were happy to get rid of their expired, unused and unwanted medications.

6 large bags of empty pill bottles were donated to Lion's Club to send to third world countries
