Power of Putnam and 106.9 Kick Country partnered together during the last weekend of May to hand out Deterra Deactivation Bags throughout Putnam County.

Due to COVID-19 drug take back events have been cancelled across the nation. Most of us are quarantined with our families. It is important that Tennesseans still have access to drug disposal methods. Deterra Drug Deactivation Bags allow for safe at-home drug disposal.

Over the weekend Power of Putnam and Kicks Country set up at multiple locations and passed out Deterra bags and medication lock boxes. Locals drove by the booth allowing them to remain socially distant. Once they pulled up, a Deterra bag was drawn from a large box... a few came with a very special prize of $106!
