Project Rural Recovery in Lawrence Co.

TDMHSAS and grant funded community providers Buffalo Valley, Inc. and McNabb Center are excited to address the behavioral and physical health needs of underserved areas of rural Tennessee with Project Rural Recovery.

Funded by a $10 million, five year federal grant, Project Rural Recovery aims to serve the integrated behavioral and physical health needs of Tennesseans in 10 rural counties.  Providers in the program have built and will operate mobile health clinics that can travel to counties served, set up the clinic, and hold appointments.  At full capacity, the goal is to serve about 2,000 Tennesseans at about 4,800 clinic visits per year.
