The Weakley County Prevention Coalition distributed free resources and Narcan training to anyone who wanted to learn how to make their home county a kinder, safer place.

Martin Walmart in Weakley County was the scene of some serious good on August 31st! From 4-6 pm, the Weakley County Prevention Coalition distributed free resources, like medication lock boxes, training on how to administer Narcan, and even free opioid reversal kits to anyone who wanted to learn how to make their home county a kinder, safer place.

The event raised awareness for the families and victims of overdoses on International Overdose Awareness Day, and ensured that unused pills and medication were disposed of safely for both the people around us, and our environment.
