I attended a recovery meeting one night to share my story with other ladies in recovery. A woman approached me after the meeting asking for help for her brother who is homeless and had overdosed the week before. I asked her if she knew where he was, and she said yes. I went with her to the street corner where he and others were gathered and provided Narcan training and kits for those at high risk. They now have my contact information along with the family so I will stay in touch with them.
