The Putnam County YMCA set up a booth and invited a TN Together representative to spend the day chatting with members about available resources in combating the current opioid epidemic. Flyers and informational posters from the TN Dept. of Health and CDC were distributed throughout the day. Our representative also brought a computer allowing individuals to browse through the resources and activities on TNTogether.com. Informational flyers involving proper prescription use are now posted on our community board.The YMCA is a place where community friendships are formed and family ties are strengthen. We strive to work for the betterment of today's society. Awareness is the base of a healthy and happy community!
